International competition

The festival launched its international competition for producers of awareness videos and creators worldwide can apply by registration on the official site no later than 20 جويلية 2024.
Then, they need to upload the content that fits the terms and conditions of participation already fixed by the organizers and the jury no later than 30 جويلية 2024.
The festival set the topic‘citizenship and sustainable development’as a main focus for its third edition manifested basically through eight items of sustainable development goals::

– القضاء على الفقر – القضاء التام على الجوع

– الصحة الجيدة والرفاه – طاقة نظيفة وبأسعار معقولة

– العمل الأنيق ونمو إقتصادي – الصناعة والإبتكار والهياكل الأساسية

– مدن ومجتمعات محلية مستدامة – الاستهلاك والإنتاج المسؤولان4

The festival calls talents and content makers to produce videos that seek to establish the principles of world peace such as feeling of belonging to the home country, volunteerism for civil community, people interaction in order to exchange citizenship ideas that prosper communities and finding solutions for the sake of sustainable development.
Citizenship is an over all behavior based on the respect of others according to correct rules and the effective participation in different fields of life. This means that citizens actively participate in ordinary and public concerns.
Citizenship in its wide meaning doesn’t mean that contemporary citizen is not just a part of his homeland but also an active member in a larger human community. This means that he has rights towards peoples living abroad thus he is regional and international citizen with more responsibilities to develop communities and show awareness that paves the way to find solutions for their problems.
The selection committee prepares a list of works and send it to jury whose role is to chose the winners of the awards. The jury consists of members specialized in audiovisual, academics, and the best talented artists from different parts of the world who will assess the works independently and objectively according to some criteria already agreed upon with the festival organization committee.
